You may have read about our documentation process and wondered how it works. Without revealing trade secrets, it’s important to note that Adobe’s innovation lies in creating documents based on mathematical precision. When you work outside of word processing software, many formats you encounter are proprietary to Adobe, designed for scalability and measurement accuracy.

We harness this technology to produce industry-standard documentation that can be scaled, measured, and easily shared. This is the same technology used to document and restore world heritage sites—like Notre-Dame Cathedral, which is being rebuilt stone by stone using similar techniques pioneered by the creators of video games. Math, indeed, is powerful.

Below, we present the Engine House (Geradora) of Paços Reals, first as an image and then as data, to illustrate the precision and adaptability of our documentation process.
